With a playoff win on the line, Wabeno/Laona rose to the challenge  on Friday. They strolled past the Valley Christian Warriors with  points to spare, taking the game  28-14. The Rebels'  win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet  this season.
 Cooper Albrecht produced another solid  performance rushing for 126 yards and three  touchdowns, while also throwing for 190 yards and one  TD. He is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's  played.
 Wabeno/Laona didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Reegan Roy and  Boone Vanooyen.
Wabeno/Laona's record is now 10-0. As for Valley Christian,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.
 Looking ahead, Wabeno/Laona will square off against Lena/Aquinas at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Titians' defense has only allowed 4.4  points per game  this season, so the Rebels' offense will have their work cut out for them. Valley Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
