Meanwhile, Franklin kept up with Rabun Gap-Nacoochee until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 3-0 shutout. Considering Rabun Gap-Nacoochee have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Asheville Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4-1.
