Lawson barely beat East Nashville Magnet the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lightning were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Eagles on Wednesday. The Lightning might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Luke Adams, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Hut Hargrove was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Lawson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .565. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Nashville Magnet only posted an OBP of .200.

Lawson now has a winning record of 9-8. As for East Nashville Magnet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
