Perhaps the best among them was   Gavin Hawkins, who  posted 12 points in addition to five  boards and three  steals. Hawkins has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  steals the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Quinn Westerfeld, who  went 6-for-15  en route to 15  points and seven  rebounds.
Western Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Cascade, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Boone will take on Fountain Central at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Western Boone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4  points per game  this season. As for Cascade, they will square off against Southmont at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Southmont will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Cascade surely won't give up without a fight.
