The Hardin Hornets lost against the Livingston Lions back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hardin was dealt a 76-47 loss at the hands of Livingston. Hardin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jahmall Thomas jr, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds. Landon Layton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Livingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Hardin is on the road again on Friday and play against Coldspring-Oakhurst at 9:00 a.m. on December 8th. Coldspring-Oakhurst presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hardin in Texas (Coldspring-Oakhurst is ranked 307th, while Hardin is ranked 1323rd). As for Livingston, they will face off against Cleveland at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
