Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Rauner's Fifth in Last Six Outings

After losing to Muchin College Prep the last time they met, Rauner decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats came out on top against the Mountain Lions by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

While Rauner won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Rauner is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Muchin College Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

Looking ahead, Rauner will take on Noble Street College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Golden Tigers at the right time seeing as the Golden Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Muchin College Prep, they will square off against UIC College Prep at 5:03 p.m. on Wednesday.
