Alanna Wirtala put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April on Friday. She struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.
