White River is 1-9 against Enumclaw since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. White River will welcome Enumclaw at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (White River 3.5, Enumclaw 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
White River headed into their last match having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Beamer let them put that streak behind them. The Hornets blew past the Titans 19-1 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Kolton Jensen made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because White River is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 0-3 otherwise. Jensen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Landon Hill was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Eric Garrison, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
White River always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Enumclaw sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Tumwater on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by just one run.
Enumclaw also got a great performance from Carter Grant as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits.
At the plate, Enumclaw saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juden Jones, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
The victory made it two in a row for Enumclaw and bumps their season record up to 8-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for White River, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
White River suffered a grim 11-3 defeat to Enumclaw in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can White River avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
