The Bethel Jaguars waltzed into their game Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Castro Valley 58-39. That's another feather in the cap for Bethel, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bethel's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was H. Howard, who scored 19 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of D. Stricklen, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Bethel now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Castro Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
