Baseball Recap: Grand Ledge Extends Winning Streak to Three

Grand Ledge entered their tilt with East Lansing on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Trojans 9-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Grand Ledge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for East Lansing, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grand Ledge is set to square off against their familiar foe Holt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 1.2, the Rams 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, East Lansing will take on rival Okemos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
