For the second straight game, West Shamokin will face off against Purchase Line. The Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Red Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Shamokin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

West Shamokin's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Purchase Line 14-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Luke McCullough was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. McCullough was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on JJ Cessna, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those stolen bases were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Logan Geist, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Purchase Line is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6. As for West Shamokin, their record is now 4-2.
