York Country Day waltzed into their game on Monday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They managed a 57-53 win over Dayspring Christian Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as York Country Day also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2017.
Leading York Country Day to victory were Isaiah White and Ryan Maus. White dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Maus scored 26 points along with six steals and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Maus has scored at least a third of York Country Day's points. Another player making a difference was Austin Boie, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
York Country Day pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
York Country Day will be playing at home against Biglerville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Biglerville is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on West Shore Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
