Mount Anthony came out on top against the Bears by a score of 63-54. The score was all tied up 26-26 at the break, but Mount Anthony was the better team in the second half.
Despite the loss, Brattleboro still got an impressive performance from Johnathon Haskins, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Keagan Systo was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Mount Anthony's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Brattleboro, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Anthony will square off against the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rutland will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Brattleboro, they will head out on the road to challenge the Terriers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Vermont (Bellows Falls is ranked 39th, while the Bears are ranked 33rd).
