Reese has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Cass City Red Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Reese will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 426th, while Cass City is ranked 89th).
Last Monday, Reese came up short against Nouvel Catholic Central and fell 63-52. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Reese in their matchups with Nouvel Catholic Central: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Cass City put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 62-47 win over Caro.
Reese's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5. As for Cass City, their win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
Reese came up short against Cass City in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 59-48. Can Reese avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
