The Sullivan Redskins will head out to take on the Blue Ridge Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sullivan will be strutting in after a win while Blue Ridge will be coming in after a loss.
Sullivan's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Heritage as they made off with a 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Redskins, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Tabitha Webb made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Sullivan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage only posted an OBP of .154.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Blue Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 8-4 to Fisher.
Mya Laidley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Hardesty, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Sullivan has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
Sullivan skirted past Blue Ridge 6-4 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Redskins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
