The Ocosta Wildcats lost against the Adna Pirates back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The contest between Ocosta and the Pirates wasn't particularly close, with the Wildcats falling 61-46. While losing is never fun, Ocosta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Pirates are ranked 113th).
Ocosta lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tarren Lewis, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kayden Turner, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Ocosta's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-14. As for Adna, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Ocosta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Adna also has no future games currently scheduled.
