The Concord-Carlisle Patriots fell victim to the Bishop Feehan Shamrocks''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a rough 24-0 loss at the hands of the Shamrocks. While losing is never fun, Concord-Carlisle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Bishop Feehan is ranked 25th).
Among those leading the charge was David Quinn, who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Concord-Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Bishop Feehan, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Concord-Carlisle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bishop Feehan will head out on the road to face off against Marshfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Marshfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
