If Asotin were riding high off their 37-15 takedown of Kellogg last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. Asotin didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 26-30 to Reardan on Friday. Asotin were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Reardan apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The defeat dropped Asotin's record to 3-2. The victory bumped Reardan's record up to 4-1.
Asotin will be playing at home against Kittitas/Thorp at at 6:00 PM next week. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup. As for Reardan, they will face off against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus. Unlike Reardan, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus will be limping in after taking a loss.
