Cody had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Newcastle Dogies.
Grace Hays paced Cody's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hays got some help from Maddie Beaudrie and her 24 assists. Hays was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
Cody's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Newcastle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Cody wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Big Horn on the 30th. As for Newcastle, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glenrock at 5:00 p.m. on September 19.
