After losing to the Maclay Marauders the last time they met, the San Jose Prep Storm decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. San Jose Prep enjoyed a cozy 59-40 victory over Maclay on Saturday.
San Jose Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Suliman Koko, who scored 11 points along with 8 assists. Another player making a difference was Desmond Williamson, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
Several Marauders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avery Coffin, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. Nash Beshears was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
San Jose Prep is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Maclay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
