The Lexington Yellowjackets lost against the East Davidson Golden Eagles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lexington took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. Lexington has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Ervin, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadia Boyd, who scored nine points.
Lexington has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for East Davidson, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Lexington will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Davidson is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for East Davidson, they will head out on the road to square off against the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
