Saugus took a serious blow against Gloucester on Friday, falling 15-61. If Saugus were expecting to get some payback for the 25-26 loss against Gloucester the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Saugus' record to 1-4. Gloucester added further sheen to their flawless record, now 5-0.
Next week Saugus take on Winthrop at 12:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. Gloucester will look to defend their home turf against Marblehead at 7:00 PM. Marblehead are cruising in on a five-game winning streak.
