 Mackenzie Donald was nothing short of spectacular: she  went 8 for 13  en route to 20 points and seven  steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Natlie Reyna, who  went 5 of 7  on her way to 12  points and seven  rebounds.
 Johnson  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 17  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive  matchups.
 SA Roosevelt's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Taaliah Miller, who  posted seven points. That's the most  points  Miller has posted since back in November of 2024.
With the  win, Johnson broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 21-11. As for SA Roosevelt, they dropped their record down to 7-20 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
