They enjoyed a cozy 38-21 victory over Varsity Opponent. That's another feather in the cap for El Dorado Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading El Dorado Christian to victory were McKenzie Cole and Breann Reasoner. Cole scored 16 points along with nine rebounds, while Reasoner dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cole has scored at least a third of El Dorado Christian's points. Sophia Bryson was another key contributor, scoring five points.
El Dorado Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 23 of their last 27 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 81-293-1 record this season.
El Dorado Christian will challenge Outreach Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Laurel HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. Laurel HomeSchool's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Varsity Opponent's offense will have their work cut out for them.
