The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wissahickon, who took down 71st ranked Wissahickon, 20-6.
Plymouth Whitemarsh extended the longest winning streak in Suburban One - American this week by beating Upper Merion Area, 42-17. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Plymouth Whitemarsh's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Pete Giorgio threw for 171 and two touchdowns and Alton Custus had 135 yards receiving. On the ground Terry Brown chipped in 84 yards. Erik Tucker helped Plymouth Whitemarsh's passing attack out by catching two balls for 22 yards.
On the ground, Dan Chang's team's Corey Kelly has rushed for 946 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Custus. The Plymouth Whitemarsh star has 26 catches for 417 yards.
The Colonials' Kelly needs only 54 yards against Norristown next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Upper Moreland takes on Cheltenham. The Bears are in fourth place, while the Panthers are in second place.
Cheltenham moved up to 149 from 224 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Suburban One - American. Joe Gro's team was able to make the jump by topping the Trojans 20-6.
