Section 2 C - North recap November 13, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Section 2 C - North this week, Hoosick Falls beat Chatham 21-8. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Hoosick Falls made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,547 from 3,136. The improvement was the result of a 21-8 victory over the Panthers last week.
Ron Jones' team's Garrett Wright and Levi Brewster led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Wright has thrown for 1,251 yards this season, while Brewster has 28 catches for 425 yards. Evan Hoagland from Granville leads the league in rushing with 1,238 yards.
The Panthers' Brandon Hodges needs only 58 yards against Ogdensburg Free Academy next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 118 carries Hodges has put up 942 yards this year.
Hoosick Falls led the league in points allowed with 8.
