The Tri-Valley Bulldogs were the 50-41 winner over the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Tri-Valley fell to Schuylkill Haven 48-42. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tri-Valley has scored all season.
Tri-Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Layne Yoder, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Luke Wehry was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals and two blocks.
Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Schuylkill Haven, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will take on Williams Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schuylkill Haven, they will head out on the road to take on Nativity BVM at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
