Tampa Bay Tech is 0-10 against Strawberry Crest since March of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Tampa Bay Tech Titans will challenge the Strawberry Crest Chargers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tampa Bay Tech has five straight wins, Strawberry Crest has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
While Tampa Bay Tech didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Leto on Monday as Tampa Bay Tech made off with a 17-7 victory. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

Grace B made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off one hit. That hit was her first of the season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, Alanis B was a standout: she scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Taliyah H was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Tampa Bay Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Strawberry Crest started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Wharton. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-5 to the Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Strawberry Crest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Destiny Bryant, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Tampa Bay Tech pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.3 runs over those games. As for Strawberry Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Tampa Bay Tech's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's contest. Tampa Bay Tech has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Strawberry Crest, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Tampa Bay Tech continue to outrun the ball?
Tampa Bay Tech suffered a grim 17-0 defeat to Strawberry Crest in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Tampa Bay Tech avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
