Copper Canyon posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Glendale out 53-51.
Meanwhile, Kofa unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 58-45 to Cibola.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Devin Diaz, who scored ten points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Barber, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Copper Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Kofa, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
Copper Canyon and Kofa were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but Copper Canyon came up empty-handed after a 46-45 defeat.
