Arkeyveon Hood Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Spalding's Arkeyveon Hood, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Hood rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This season, Hood has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 45.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 0.75 rushing yards per game.

His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.
LaGrange's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Render-Fannin and LaGrange will take on Troup County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
