In what's become a running theme this season, Solon gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Brecksville-Broadview Heights as Solon made off with a 71-51 win. Given Solon's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Brecksville-Broadview Heights is ranked 100th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Wadsworth unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 41-21 walloping at the hands of Stow-Munroe Falls. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wadsworth has scored all season.
Solon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Wadsworth, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
Solon strolled past Wadsworth when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 60-43. Will Solon repeat their success, or does Wadsworth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
