Tulia's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Becerra, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Nic Carrasco, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Tulia has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Canadian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulia will take on River Road at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River Road is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Canadian, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Spearman at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
