The Springdale Dynamos will challenge the Riverview Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Springdale turned things around against Summit Academy on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Knights a 10-0 shutout. The Dynamos' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
Joseph Loebig made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cameron Orait, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Jordan Ricci was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Springdale was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Riverview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against South Allegheny by a score of 4-0 on Thursday.
Lukas Duncan was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ashton Saunders, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Riverview's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Springdale, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
Springdale might still be hurting after the 18-0 loss they got from Riverview when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Dynamos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
