There's no place like home for the Fort Campbell Falcons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 40-32 victory over Frederick Fraize on Saturday. For Fort Campbell, this counts as revenge for the 44-36 loss Frederick Fraize walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Leading Fort Campbell to victory were Madison Newingham and Rosella Rajj. Newingham almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds, while Rajj scored 25 points along with five steals and three blocks. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Rajj has scored at least a third of Fort Campbell's points.
Fort Campbell's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Frederick Fraize, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Campbell will square off against Montgomery County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Campbell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while Montgomery County is ranked 37th). As for Frederick Fraize, they will head out on the road to challenge Meade County on Thursday.
