The Jimtown Jimmies's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They took down Trinity 37-19. The victory was just what Jimtown needed coming off of a 66-32 defeat in their prior game.
Jimtown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalie Butler, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Justyce Williams was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Jimtown's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13. As for Trinity, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
Jimtown will head out on the road to face off against New Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully New Prairie focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Tuesday. As for Trinity, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bethany Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
