The Reeltown Rebels lost to the Horseshoe Bend Generals back in January of 2023, but the Reeltown Rebels didn't allow the Horseshoe Bend Generals the same satisfaction on Friday. Reeltown put the hurt on Horseshoe Bend with a sharp 58-38 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Reeltown.
Reeltown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Finn Henderson out in front who scored 26 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tae Martin, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and seven steals.
Reeltown's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Horseshoe Bend, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reeltown will take on LaFayette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully LaFayette focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Horseshoe Bend, they will be playing at home against Beulah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
