He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. In other batting news, Landon Norris was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Saxton Pennycuff, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Eastern Greene has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like North Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
