Shenandoah is a perfect 7-0 against Wes-Del since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Shenandoah is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Wes-Del's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Shenandoah hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Raiders' pitcher stepped up to hand Rushville a 10-0 shutout on Monday. Considering the Raiders have won ten contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Olivia Watson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Gabrielle Patrick was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aleyna Sharritts, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one double.
Meanwhile, Wes-Del came up short against Eastern Hancock on Monday, falling 8-2. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly six runs.
Wes-Del saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailee West, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.
Wes-Del's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-7. As for Shenandoah, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Shenandoah hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like Wes-Del struggles in that department as they've averaged .366. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Shenandoah's way against Wes-Del in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Shenandoah made off with a 12-0 win. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
