Baseball Recap: Kenwood Wins Going Away Against Morgan Park

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kenwood and Morgan Park meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Broncos put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Kenwood now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Morgan Park, they moved to 9-5-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Kenwood will face off against Lindblom at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.64 runs per game on average), something the Broncos will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Morgan Park, they will head out on the road to square off against Chicago Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
