Konos Academy has gone 6-1 against Trinity Christian School of Griffin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Condor will square off against the LIONS at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Konos Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Creekside Christian Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Condor have posted against the Cougars since October 3, 2022.
In the three sets Konos Academy was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 15-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-3.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian School of Griffin made easy work of Skipstone Academy on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The LIONS haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
While Trinity Christian School of Griffin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.
Konos Academy better keep an eye on Carsen Hale. She was instrumental in Trinity Christian School of Griffin's win, getting seven digs and four aces.
Trinity Christian School of Griffin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are 7-2 when they serve at least ten aces.
Konos Academy's record now sits at 6-12. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
