Palm Beach Lakes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ezria Pierre-louis out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pierre-louis has scored at least a third of Palm Beach Lakes' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zuri Miller-Whiteside, who scored 18 points.
Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being HARMON RANDOLPH, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals. RANDOLPH is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. CHAU DAVIS was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Palm Beach Lakes now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.
Palm Beach Lakes will head out on the road to square off against Dwyer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dwyer is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Palm Beach Lakes is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Davenport at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Davenport is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.
