University Park is on a four-game streak of home losses, Bay Path RVT a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. University Park will take on the Bay Path RVT Minutemen at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
University Park suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Sunday. They were dealt a 71-37 defeat at the hands of Burncoat.
Meanwhile, Bay Path RVT earned a 49-40 victory over Keefe Tech on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given Bay Path RVT's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while Keefe Tech is ranked 129th).
Bay Path RVT relied on the efforts of Dale Nussey, who scored 14 points, and Corey Scovil, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scovil has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Zack Moody, who scored eight points.
University Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Bay Path RVT, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Everything went University Park's way against Bay Path RVT when the teams last played back in February of 2018 as University Park made off with a 81-57 victory.
