After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Luther, the Bangor Cardinals were happy to have found some success on Friday. They breezed by Necedah on the road to the tune of 72-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bangor also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Chase Horstman was a one-man wrecking crew for Bangor as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was Horstman's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Brezany, who scored 19 points.
Bangor's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Necedah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Bangor will be playing at home against Brookwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Necedah, they will head out on the road to face off against Cashton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cashton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
