After two games on the road, Roosevelt is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Glencoe Crimson Tide at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Roosevelt has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 29 points or more this season. They blew past Aloha 56-27 on the road.
Roosevelt found their leader in underclassman Nevaeh Landrum, who scored 21 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Carolina Alonoso, who scored eight points along with seven steals and five assists.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Glencoe beat Central 51-46 on Friday. The victory was just what Glencoe needed coming off of a 61-25 defeat in their prior game.
Roosevelt now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Glencoe, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
