After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastern Hills, Benbrook was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Carter-Riverside Eagles 47-24. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Benbrook pushed their record up to 12-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.8 points per game. As for Carter-Riverside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Benbrook Bobcats face off against the Dunbar Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carter-Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
