Hagerman is 0-10 against Dietrich since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hagerman Pirates will face off against the Dietrich Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Hagerman is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Thursday, Hagerman didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Horseshoe Bend, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory.
Hagerman relied on the efforts of Alex Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Ky Kendall, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Kendall hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. Martin Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 14 rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-53, which was the final score in Dietrich's tilt against Camas County on Monday.
Hagerman has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Dietrich, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Hagerman couldn't quite finish off Dietrich in their previous matchup two weeks ago and fell 65-63. Can Hagerman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
