Stratford hasn't had much luck against Immaculate recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Red Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. Immaculate took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Stratford, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Stratford made easy work of Kolbe-Cathedral and carried off a 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Morgan Letizia tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Ashlyn Tracy was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Riley Dicks was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.
Stratford lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Immaculate was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against Brookfield, falling 12-2.
Immaculate saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Costa, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Immaculate's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for Stratford, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Stratford has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Immaculate struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Stratford couldn't quite get it done against Immaculate in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-4. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
