The Salida Spartans can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 52-24 victory over Rye on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Salida.
Salida got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Graysa Kindle out in front who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaija Saari, who scored 12 points.
Rye lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Taci Ehrlich, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
The win got Salida back to even at 4-4. As for Rye, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Salida will head out on the road to face off against Peyton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peyton will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Rye, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rocky Ford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
