DME Academy Blue couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 35-24 to the Potter's House Christian Lions on Tuesday.
Alanna Tatum had an outrageously good game for Potter's House Christian as she had 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Dagba, who earned ten points in addition to two steals.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DME Academy Blue will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central Pointe Christian Academy on December 3rd. As for Potter's House Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Montverde Academy Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
