The St. Paul's Prep Lions  won the last time they faced the Heritage Christian Academy Lions, and things went their way  on Thursday too. St. Paul's Prep came out on top against the Lions by a score of  63-52. That's two games straight that St. Paul's Prep has won by exactly 11  points.
 Leading St. Paul's Prep to victory were  Jeremy Perkins and  Landon Applon.  Perkins  scored 23 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists, while  Applon  almost  dropped  a double-double on 27 points and nine  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Applon has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cooper Maumus, who  scored four points along with ten  rebounds and two  steals.
 Despite the loss, Heritage Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from   Daniel Barker, who  dropped  a double-double on 29 points and ten  rebounds.  Jeriah Carter was another key contributor,  scoring nine points.
 St. Paul's Prep is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul's Prep will take on the Lions at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Cristo Rey Fort Worth is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against the Patriots at 7:00  p.m.  on January 26th. Victory Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
